Thanks for visiting my blog! Here is a little explanation of my URL and what will be going on here.
Proverbs 19:21 says:
“Many are the plans in a man’s heart,
but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails.”
We can make whatever plans we want and as many plans as we want, but sometimes God has something different. Sometimes God’s answers aren’t what we expect, but we can count on three responses: yes, no, and wait. And if He’s saying ‘no’ or ‘wait.’ to one thing, you can bet that He is saying ‘yes’ and ‘go!’ to another.
“How many secrets of leading are yet to be brought to light, thousands of God’s servants having been forbidden by Him to follow out their plans because He had some unexpected door of service to be set before them! And how we need to trust Him for guidance and rejoice equally in His restraints and constraints, because if we had infinite wisdom and love to guide us, we should not by one hair’s breadth change His perfect plan for our lives.” A.T. Pierson
“I will lead the blind by a way they do not know, in paths they do not know I will guide them. I will make darkness into light before them and rugged places into plains. These are the things I will do, and I will not leave them undone.” Isaiah 42:16
God’s purposes prevail; wherever He leads is where I want to go. I hope you’ll enjoy following me through some of my life’s adventures at proverbsnineteen21 as I follow Him wherever He leads and sends me to grow.
