Sometimes I have this desire to crowd my life all into one little moment.
I want all the experiences at once and to the detriment of all end up experience not a one of them to the full.
Sometimes the crowd leaves out the people who make up the crowd. Instead of seeing faces I see a blur. And people become the means to an end instead of THE END.
Because our end is love, is it not, and who to love but people? Jesus says.
And Jesus, of course.
Of course.
But this crowd. This crowd of faces and stories. And lives lived, told and in secret.
The crowd is more than just a crowd. It’s a multitude of different, very different, moments and people to live through and with.
Instead of taking things in a crowd. I want to take them one by one, face by face, moment by moment, quiet or full, empty or loud. Each one has it’s value and each is meant to be lived. And known. And loved.
Because who said life needs to be lived to the full all in this minute. Maybe a full life is more about doing less and less about doing more. More about enjoying more and crowding less.
The crowded places speak volumes. But in the silence is poetry.
Pause. Live. Love. Repeat.

And yes that was two five minute friday in a row. :) sometimes I get behind but still want to write for this five minute experiment.
Are you crowding your life? Or living in the pause? How do you balance the moments?
