50 Women Every Christian Should Know: Learning from Heroines of the Faith
I should have reviewed this book about five month ago, but the truth is I still haven’t made it through all the entries yet. So I haven’t felt like I should write my review yet.
But since it seems I won’t be finishing it in the near future, now is the time.
And lucky for you, the kindle edition is on a major sale (I’m guessing in honor of International Women’s Day this weekend?) for only $1.99! Just follow the link above to get to your copy!
I would snatch it up if I didn’t already own it :) it’s a worthy addition to your library.
I referenced several different profiles in my Niche Convictions series and really appreciated having a rich resource of women to pull out as needed. Each woman comes to life as Michelle DeRusha’s research builds and walks us through the steps and life of these women. It was great to see a book devoted to women in a genre that is often dominated by or devoted to men. I’m sure I’ll pull this out in years to come whether it be for research, inspiration or to share with my daughter in five or ten years.
A beautiful collection of God’s hand in the world and these women’s lives.
